Kiwi Tri coaching and nutrition are pleased to now offer life coaching and personal development in conjunction with The Flourishing Institute. These online workshops and 1 to 1 coach sessions will help you get through some of the obstacles that the Coronavirus situation has brought to our lives.

This course is excellent for those working from home and trying to work at their best in the new environment. 

 

Thriving Through Change. 

In the Coronavirus world this programme will help give you the skills and tools to adapt, stay calm, bounce back and grow.

 

Building Resilience Through Healthy Thinking. 

This programme will help you identify unhealthy thinking habits that are stopping you bouncing back from challenging times. You will learn techniques for identifying and managing these habits which will help to significantly build emotional resilience. 

 

Each programme consists of video content, reflection then 1 to 1 coaching to help you make sense of your findings and how best to implement these changes.  They are practical, evidence-based learning that have real changes in people's lives.  

We also have a video only course of Five Critical Skills for Mental Wellbeing in Turbulent Times. Very good for you or others in your company to help cope with the Coronavirus challenges that we all face. Each video is about seven minutes long and gives key skills and practical tools to help with mental health well being. 

The Programmes
 

FOCUSING ATTENTION & MANAGING DISTRACTIONS

The Focusing Attention and Managing Distractions programme is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to deliver your best work, even in an environment of distraction and overwhelm.

Many of you will be comfortable dealing with a large volume of information and working in environment where distraction is the norm – you may even welcome the challenge it brings. Others of you might find it a bit more difficult to deal with. No matter where you fit, this programme is designed to equip you with high impact techniques for functioning at your best and getting your most important work done. You will be provided with a toolkit of ideas and techniques that, if practiced regularly, will enhance your productivity, creativity and performance.

This programme comprises a powerful combination of videos and well- researched techniques and tools that make the biggest difference to your ability to focus your attention, manage distractions and get your most important work done.

These techniques and tools have been widely used with diverse audiences, representing all organisational levels and have been refined based on feedback to focus on those that are simple and practical to use and have the biggest impact on people’s productivity.​

HOW THE PROGRAMME WORKS

This is a self-paced learning programme – there is no time limit for completing this course and you can access it as often as you want. There are 7 short videos to watch, along with reflection questions to complete. 

At the end, there is a summary handout which provides an overview of all the techniques for you to print off and keep. 

After you have completed the first set of videos 1-3 then you have a half hour, one to one video chat with our coach to talk through your findings and how best you can implement them. The same after the 2nd set of videos, 4 and 5.

It is better to complete a little section every few days, rather than try and cram the programme into a short burst. Previous programme participants have suggested that it helps to put some regular time aside for your learning.

Share what you are working on with your family and friends. By involving them, they will understand more about what you are going through and they can support you in making positive and sustainable behaviour change.

 
THRIVING THROUGH CHANGE

 

The Thriving Through Change programme is designed to help you grow your inner resources so you become more resilient and flexible in the face of whatever changes, stressors and challenges you are dealing with in your life - at work and at home.


You will be provided with a toolkit of psychological skills and tools that help you stay calm, rise to challenges, bounce back from difficulties and grow from these experiences. You will strengthen your ability to deal with any type of challenge, now or in the future.

This programme comprises a powerful combination of videos and well-researched techniques and tools that make the biggest difference to your ability to face challenges and bring about positive change. These techniques and tools have been widely used with diverse audiences, representing all organisational levels and have been refined over the last few years based on the feedback of hundreds of participants to focus on those that are easy to understand, simple and practical to use and have the biggest impact on people’s lives.

 

The content of the programme draws from the latest research in the fields of: 

  • Positive psychology

  • The psychology of change

  • Neuroscience 

  • Health and wellbeing 

  • High-performance sport 

 

HOW THE PROGRAMME WORKS


This is a self-paced learning programme - there is no time limit for completing this course and you can access it as often as you want. There are 11 short videos to watch, along with reflection questions to complete and exercises and tools to download. When you come across tools that you like, print them out and keep them handy for future reference. After answering reflection questions, you send them to your Life Coach, we can then go through these at stages throughout the programme;  

Set 1 after completion of videos 1-4, 

Set 2 after completion of videos 5 and 6, 

set 3 after completion of videos 7 and 8. 

Set 4 after completion of videos 9 to 11.


The exercises are designed to help you practice what you have learned and hopefully master new skills. If you don't complete the exercises or don't practice regularly, you can expect to get some useful knowledge about change but you are unlikely to see any major changes overall in your behaviour. 

Like any skill, it requires practice to see an improvement. If you continue to practice over time, you can expect to see big changes quite quickly. It is better to complete a little section every few days, rather than try and cram the whole programme into a short burst. BUILDING RESILIENCE THROUGH HEALTHY THINKING

 

This programme is designed to help you develop healthy thinking habits and skills that support you to lead a rich, full meaningful life. You will identify unhealthy thinking habits that are stopping you from bouncing back quickly after experiencing challenging times. You will learn different techniques for identifying, managing or changing these habits, all of which are easy to apply and if practised regularly, have been shown to have a significant impact on building emotional resilience.

This programme consists of a powerful combination of videos and well researched tools and techniques that make the biggest difference to building your emotional resilience.  These techniques and tools have been widely used with hundreds of people, from all organisational levels and diverse backgrounds. We have focused this programme exclusively on the five healthy thinking habits that people report make the biggest difference to their lives.

 

These are:

  • Manage rumination and worry

  • Keep perspective

  • Approach rather than avoid problems

  • Reframe threat as challenge, and

  • Focus on what you can control.

By the end of the programme, you will have learned how to strengthen your capacity to respond to any disruption to your resilience – large or small – with more skill, flexibility and effectiveness.

FIVE CRITICAL SKILLS FOR MENTAL WELLBEING IN TURBULENT TIMES

A video only course of Five Critical Skills for Mental Wellbeing in Turbulent Times. Very good for you or others in your company to help cope with the Coronavirus challenges that we all face. Each video is about seven minutes long and gives key skills and practical tools to help with mental health well being. You will be sent a link to the video package with your unique password.
